  Computer System
 
Not switching on?
  Check the monitor. If it is switched off, switch it ON. Switch off the system. Check all the power connections and reboot the system.

 
System is giving multiple beeps?
  It may be due to loose display card or floppy drive not placed properly or the absence of RAM.
Contact our hardware engineers.

 
Booting is slow?
  There are two possibilities. If the system was always slow then it could be due to less RAM or small capacity of the hard-disk. Contact us to upgrade your system. If the system has just become slow then it could be due to any new software installed. It might be using a large amount of memory or space on the hard disk. Check the available space on the hard-disk. If it is very less then, uninstall the software. It can also be due to any boot-sector virus. Use any latest anti-virus software to check and remove the system viruses if present.

 
System is slow?
  Check if the system has a virus. Use any latest anti-virus software to check and remove the system viruses. Any new software might be the cause of the problem e.g. screen-saver/ Anti-virus/ any pirated software. Uninstall the software and reboot your system. It can also be due to multiple applications being open. So close unnecessary applications. Contact us if the problem still remains.

  Mouse
 
Mouse pointer is not responding?  
  Check the mouse cable or it may be due to mouse driver not being installed. System might be hung. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and check the task manager status. The ball or the rollers might be dirty. Contact us.

 
Mouse click is not responding?
  Check the mouse connection. If the connection is loose then replace the jack firmly. System might be hung. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and check the task manager status. See if the button is stuck.

 
Mouse pointer is not moving under control?
  Check the connections. Take the ball out and clean it or Contact us.
 
  Monitor
 
Display is corrupted?
  Check the monitor cable. Check if the power supply to the system is regular. Check the display settings (resolution etc.) from the control panel.

 
Display is not proportionate?
  Adjust the display using the buttons provided on the monitor.

 
Monitor displays single color?  
  Check the monitor cable. Monitors picture tube could be weak. Contact our hardware engineers. Display driver not installed.

 
There is no display?  
  Check if the monitor power on indicator is lit. If not, check the power cables to the monitor. Press any key from the keyboard. Power save mode could be active. Check the connection between the CPU and the monitor.

  Keyboard
 
Keyboard not responding?  
  Check the cable connection between the keyboard and CPU. Check if the keyboard jack is firmly attached to the port.

 
Particular keys not functioning or Keys get stuck?
  Contact us for a service of the keyboard.

  CD-ROM Drive
 
Device not ready?
  No CD is inserted. Select the CD-ROM drive again.

 
Cannot open a file?
CD-ROM may not be compatible with your CD-ROM drive. File may be corrupt. Check if the CD has been inserted properly. CD drive jumper setting may not be proper or the internal connections may be faulty. Contact us.

  Printer
 
No documents printed?
  Check if the printer is switched ON. Check the connections. If no printer software installed, install it. Check if the document was sent successfully from your machine. If yes, then your job could be in the queue or check for any error message from the printer.

 
Printer not found?
  Check the connections. Check if the printer is installed.

 
Printout not readable or smudging?
  Check the cartridge, ribbon etc. and the printing media used.

 
Garbage data printed?
  A wrong printer might be installed. Check and install the correct printer. Printer sensor might be faulty. In case of problems contact us.

 
How to set up a printer?
In case of Windows, insert the driver CD and follow the on-screen instructions.

Modem
Modem not responding?
Check if the modem is ON. Check the connections. Check the connections between the Modem and the PC. If the modem has failed / modem is not functioning. Cable might be faulty. Contact us.

Connection failed?
It may be a Server problem. Try again. Check modem configuration in My Computer -> Dial -Up Networking -> Make new Connection.

Modem not detected?
Modem was not switched ON during booting process. Switch it ON and try again. Modem driver not installed.

Unable to switch-on the modem?
It may be a modem adapter problem. Contact us.
